Problemy z zakresie ochrony bioróżnorodności wybiegają daleko poza granice państw, a nawet kontynentów. Najtrudniejszą kwestią pozostaje problem inwazyjnych gatunków obcych, których występowanie w danych ekosystemach powoduje szereg negatywnych zjawisk. Występowanie ich w rolnictwie powoduje nie tylko straty ekologicznych, ale także szereg strat ekonomicznych. Aby skutecznie walczy z inwazyjnymi gatunkami obcymi, organizacje i instytucje różnych państw muszą współpracować ze sobą. W odpowiedzi na tą potrzebę SITR O/Słupsk podjął się realizacji projektu bilateralnego pn.: „Rolnictwo a inwazyjne gatunki obce”. Projekt jest realizowany od listopada 2016 r. do kwietnia 2017 r., wraz z Partnerem Norweskim Instytutem Badań nad Bioekonomią – NIBIO.
Partnerstwo pozwoli nam na nawiązanie kontaktów i wzmocnione relacje dwustronnych pomiędzy organizacją polską a organizacją z Państw-Darczyńców.
Nastąpi wymiana wiedzy, doświadczeń oraz najlepszych praktyk w zakresie bioróżnorodności.
Grupy docelowe projektu:
- organizacje pozarządowe z Polski i Norwegii;
- rolnicy, producenci rolni, organizacje i instytucje rolnicze;
- przedstawiciele instytucji i administracji rządowej i samorządowej.
Cele projektu:
- wymiana doświadczeniami w dziedzinie bioróżnorodności;
- nawiązanie kontaktów międzynarodowych;
- poznanie nowych metod pracy;
- poszerzenie swojej oferty edukacyjnej w zakresie bioróżnorodności.
W ramach projektu zostaną zrealizowane dwa zadania: wizyta studyjna w Norwegii, której celem jest wymiana wiedzy i doświadczeń, w zakresie komunikacji, edukacji oraz budowania świadomości społecznej w obszarze bioróżnorodności szczególnie wśród mieszkańców terenów wiejskich oraz konferencja pn.: „Różnorodność biologiczna w rolnictwie”, organizowana w Polsce.
Rezultatem projektu będzie zwiększona aktywność polskich instytucji z sektora pozarządowego na forum międzynarodowym.
Projekt jest finansowany ze środków Mechanizmu Finansowego EOG 2009-2014 w ramach Funduszu Współpracy Dwustronnej, Programu PL02 „Ochrona różnorodności biologicznej i ekosystemów”, którego Operatorem jest Ministerstwo Środowiska.
Problems with the protection of biodiversity stretch far beyond the national borders and even the continents. The most difficult issue is the problem of invasive alien species and their occurrence in various ecosystems that causes a number of negative phenomena. Their occurrence in agriculture not only causes environmental damage, but also numerous economic losses. To effectively combat invasive alien species, organizations and institutions of different countries must work together.
Target groups:
- Non-governmental organizations from Poland and Norway;
- Farmers, agricultural producers, agricultural organizations and institutions;
- Representatives of institutions, government and local administration.
Objectives:
- Exchange of experience in the field of biodiversity;
- Establishing international contacts;
- Learning new working methods;
- Expanding educational offer in terms of biodiversity.
Two tasks will be carried out within the project: a study visit to Norway, the aim of which is to exchange knowledge and experience in the field of communication, education and building public awareness of biodiversity, especially among the inhabitants of rural areas and a conference entitled “Biodiversity in Agriculture”, organized in Poland.
The realization of the project will contribute to the achievement of the following result:
- Increased, by the realization of the project, activity of the Beneficiary institution from the non-governmental sector on the international forum.
The project is implemented in partnership with NIBIO - Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research in Norway.
The partnership will establish contacts and enhanced bilateral relations between the Polish organization and organization representing the Donor States. Further, it will allow an exchange of knowledge, experiences and best practices in the field of biodiversity.
